A dictionary of some Mek'Purr terms and some language notes.

Language notes. In some cases, the position of a word affects it's meaning in a phrase. The word "Purr" at the start of a phrase means warrior, the same word at the end of the phrase means people. Thus "Mek'Purr" meaning "The Technogical People" or even "The Tool Users", and Purr'Ka meaning "Warrior with Honour", or Samurai in some translations.

Do "The way". Only used as a prefix to certain philosophical or martial disciplines.
Do-Fith'Ik The way of the Fang-of-Steel. A Mek'Purr school of combat, which has many philosophical underpinnings.
Fith Fang.
Fith'Ik literally Fang-of-Steel. The term is applied to a Mek'Purr weapon which is functionally equivalent to a katana. The weapon is restricted to the knightly class.
Fith'Weow literally Fang-of-the-Sun. A Lightsword.
Ka Honour.
Mek Technological.
Meowr'Hiss "Mind-Gift" ie. Psi Powers.
Purr'Meowr'Hiss'Ka PsiSamurai. Literally "Warrior of the Mind Gift with Honour"
Purr' Warrior.
'Purr People.
Purr'Ka Warrior with honour. Usually translated as Samurai.
