Will there be a French translation of Space opera?

It looks like this might be the case. Here is a quote from an email of 16/06/1999 that Dom received from a FGU fan :

"Scott (Scott Bizar, the owner of FGU) said they have licensed and are going to be printing Space Opera in France where they will have some graphic capabilities FGU U.S.A. doesn't have and they will also be creating new modules which will be translated to English for sale here, but he cannot give a time table for that."
CatBlack

But I don't know who in France had the right and I wonder if this famouse translation will even see the light of day.

"Incidentally, the translation had been untertaken by Jean-Hugues Villacampa, who ran the shop Phénomène J, next to Descartes Ecoles. I don't know if he continues on this project, but I don't think so. Jean-Hugues can be contacted at Hexagonal "
